Principles
With over 20 years as a software professional, Richard brings a rich and varied
experience to this organization. He started his consulting career by creating a
consulting division for Computerland of Connecticut. He then partnered with Victor
Pei to form RSVP Associates before starting his own practice, Application Resources,
Inc. (ARI) in 1992. ARI's original focus was in developing series of commercial
products focused on children's mental health case management; Caretrack and CareManager
facillitated the development of "wrap around" systems of care by tracking case plans
and financial tracking of services. The development of ARI's consulting practice
also delved into several other industries including: finance/banking, paper and
executive recruiting.
After moving to Florida, he was able to develop and successfully deploy web based
interactive television systems for Carnival and Royal Cararibean cruise lines. Richard
then went on to form a software department for Florida's 3rd largest home builder.
At Transeastern Homes, Richard was responsible for the deployment of an off the
shelf CRM package, development of internal systems for quality assurance, contract
systems for community launches, development of a financial reporting suite and numerous
other initiatives.
Richard has a Sun Certification in the Java Language. He is a member of PMI. He
published an article in the IEEE magazine entitled, "Requirements are Corporate
Assets", in 2002.
