Richard Salit - resume
With over 20 years as a software professional, Richard brings a rich and varied experience to this organization. He started his consulting career by creating a consulting division for Computerland of Connecticut. He then partnered with Victor Pei to form RSVP Associates before starting his own practice, Application Resources, Inc. (ARI) in 1992. ARI's original focus was in developing series of commercial products focused on children's mental health case management; Caretrack and CareManager facillitated the development of "wrap around" systems of care by tracking case plans and financial tracking of services. The development of ARI's consulting practice also delved into several other industries including: finance/banking, paper and executive recruiting.

After moving to Florida, he was able to develop and successfully deploy web based interactive television systems for Carnival and Royal Cararibean cruise lines. Richard then went on to form a software department for Florida's 3rd largest home builder. At Transeastern Homes, Richard was responsible for the deployment of an off the shelf CRM package, development of internal systems for quality assurance, contract systems for community launches, development of a financial reporting suite and numerous other initiatives.

Richard has a Sun Certification in the Java Language. He is a member of PMI. He published an article in the IEEE magazine entitled, "Requirements are Corporate Assets", in 2002.
